For us, the old year has been a ‘turbulent’ one, dominated in the first part by the death of my sister. Cancer remains a terrible disease that, after a relatively short illness, took its toll.
In addition, or rather alongside this, we changed both our domain and our shop system twice in a short period of time, with all the complications that entailed. Unfortunately, our existing customers had no choice but to create a new account. Fortunately, most of the existing articles were transferred successfully, and we were able to move forward with confidence. The new and improved web store has been translated into three languages: Dutch, English, and German. With all the translation options available today (free of charge), you may wonder whether translations are still useful, but I actually think they are. Apart from the immediate convenience, there are still plenty of people who are not always proficient enough on their mobile phones or PCs to be able to translate quickly. We are satisfied with what is there now and, fortunately, no longer have to take care of the underlying system ourselves.
