Royal Boch is a Walloon pottery manufacturer, probably the best known on Belgian soil. The company was founded in 1841, and was renamed Boch Frères SNC in 1844. The company also produces ceramic products under the brand name (Boch) Keramis.
For decades, the Boch family took care of the quality of the designs. Thanks to Anna Boch, artists such as Charles van der Stappen and Théo Van Rysselberghe were involved in the production. The family maintained contacts with various artists. For example, Eugène Boch was a good friend of Vincent van Gogh.
